The smallest capsule that fits, from each powder’s own pack stat.
Different powders pack differently, so Formulator measures each ingredient against its own pack stat for every size, adds up the volume, and picks the smallest capsule where the formula fits. Cellulose, or your chosen filler, fills what’s left.

Each API/LOT record carries its own potency, such as IU per gram or units per milligram, so a dose in IU or mcg becomes milligrams of powder without a side calculation. Salt forms work the same way, entered exactly as the ratio you’d write down.

Base needed, with displacement done for you.
For moulded forms, Formulator starts from the base’s blank mass, subtracts each active using the base’s powder displacement factor, adds silica gel only when a powder is present, and tells you exactly how much base to weigh.
