Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information SerenRx collects through this website (serenrx.ca) and through SerenRx Formulator, why, and how we protect it. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
This website
serenrx.ca doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no forms. Like any website, our hosting provider records basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in server logs used for security and reliability. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
SerenRx Formulator
What we collect
- Account information: the name and work email address of each user your pharmacy invites, their role, and sign-in records.
- Pharmacy reference data: the records your team enters, such as API/LOT records, pack stats, fillers, bases, mixture instructions and BUD evaluations, and your pharmacy’s settings.
What we don’t collect
Formulator is not designed to hold patient information, and users must not enter patient names, prescription details or other personal health information. Calculations run in your browser; the formulas you calculate are not stored unless you save them as reference data.
How we use it
To provide the service: signing users in, sending invitations and password-reset emails, keeping each pharmacy’s data separate, backing it up, and supporting your pharmacy when asked. We don’t sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Where it’s stored and who helps us
Formulator’s database is hosted in Canada. We use these service providers, each bound to protect the information they process for us:
- Supabase: database and user sign-in (data stored in Canada)
- Render: application and website hosting (North America)
- Resend: delivery of account emails
Security and retention
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each pharmacy’s records are isolated at the database level. We keep account and pharmacy data while your pharmacy uses SerenRx; nightly backups are kept for 30 days. When a pharmacy leaves, we provide an export on request and then delete its data.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Your pharmacy’s admin can update or deactivate your account directly. To make a request or ask a question about this policy, email hello@serenrx.ca.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and, for significant changes, let pharmacy admins know.
